JLRG proudly sponsors the ARRL VEC testing process. We conduct license testing for all license classes, one hour prior to each regular business meeting. Please refer to the calendar posted on the home page for the business meeting schedule. We do not impose any testing fees beyond the $15 levied by the ARRL. When you're ready to test, all we ask is that you reach out to our VE Testing Coordinator, Mike Stowe (contact info below,) and let us know when and what test you'll be taking.

We maintain a roster of qualified Volunteer Examiners, but if you're a VE and not on our list, we'd certainly appreciate having your help.

If you're just getting started and looking for additional information, pleaes visit the ARRL's, "Why Should I Get Licensed" page. Need a copy of the Ham Radio License Manual?" Almost ready and need to practice test? There are numerous online testing sites where you can practice using questions from the actual test pool.

Beginning July 1, 2014, be sure you're studying from the 3rd edition, Technician, Ham Radio License Manual. These are available from the ARRL for $29.95.

Questions? Drop a note to Mike who will be glad to help!

How are we doing? Take a look at the Testing Summary and the candidates that have acquired and/or advanced their Amateur Radio license.
